Composite Cladding &
Architectural Facings

Durability Executed Down to the Finest Detail

COMODO installs composite cladding systems (Trespa, Eternit, Rockpanel) and architectural facings (stone,
metal). Our façade specialists master ventilated subframe fixing systems, with strict compliance
regarding layout plans, expansion joints, and architectural detailing.

Our Cladding Systems

Composite cladding, stone facings, and metal facades on ventilated substructures.

Trespa® & Eternit®

High-density composite cladding for contemporary façades.

Stone Facings

Natural or engineered stone installed with adhesive or mechanical fixing systems

Metal Cladding

Aluminum cassette systems, steel trays, and composite panels.

Hybrid Systems

Combination of cladding and facings on ventilated substructures.

Our Installation Process

01

Analysis & Layout Planning

Assessment of the substrate, validation of fixing systems, and detailed panel layout planning with precise respect for joints and architectural patterns.

02

Ventilated Substructure

Installation of the primary and secondary framework (aluminum or stainless steel), integration of insulation where required in hybrid systems, and flatness control.

03

Pose bardage / parement

Installation of composite panels or stone facings in compliance with DTU standards and manufacturer technical approvals. Full photographic traceability throughout the project.

04

Finishing & As-Built Documentation

Joints, flashings, and connection details. Final inspection, snagging resolution, and delivery of the as-built file including updated drawings and warranties.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of composite cladding do you offer?

Trespa Meteon (HPL panels), Eternit Cedral (fiber cement), and Rockpanel (compressed stone wool panels). Available in standard or custom-made formats, with visible or concealed fixings depending on the architect’s design requirements. Finishes include matte, satin, wood effect, metallic, solid color, or textured surfaces.

Two techniques are used depending on thickness and panel format: stainless steel edge clips for thicker stone panels (5 cm+), or through-mechanical fixings for 2–3 cm stone panels. Aluminum or stainless steel substructures are used with integrated insulation. Open joints (6–10 mm) ensure ventilation and thermal expansion compliance. Installation follows DTU 55.2 standards and manufacturer technical approvals.

After approval of the layout drawings: 4 to 6 weeks manufacturing time at Trespa or Eternit facilities (Netherlands / Belgium), plus approximately 1 week for transport. Installation takes 1 to 3 weeks depending on the surface area. Total project duration: approximately 6 to 10 weeks from approval to completion. A detailed schedule is provided during the preparation phase.

Very little maintenance is required. Annual cleaning with clear water is recommended (avoid aggressive chemical products). Trespa and Eternit guarantee color stability for a minimum of 10 years. No treatment or repainting is necessary. Individual panels can be replaced without full dismantling thanks to removable fixing systems.
