Plumbing, electrical, ventilation

A partition that transmits noise, a workshop glazed screen whose uprights are not plumb, forgotten
cable or pipe runs — these defects are always attributable to approximate installation or a failure
to coordinate with other trades.

COMODO delivers your partitions and glazed screens with precise reading of your distribution plans,
on-site dimensional verification and rigorous coordination with electrical, plumbing and ventilation
trades for service reservations. Steel glazed screens are workshop-fabricated and powder-
coated in custom RAL colours.

Partition & Separation Systems

Custom Steel Workshop Glazed Screens

Fabrication of steel glazed screens (fixed or opening frames) with single or double glazing depending on acoustic requirements. Custom RAL powder-coated finish or raw waxed steel.

High-Performance Acoustic Partitions

Double-skin plasterboard partitions with 45 mm mineral wool insulation, 70 mm metal studs. Acoustic performance up to 52 dB to specification.

Frameless Glazed Partitions

10 mm tempered glass partitions installed on aluminium profiles flush-fitted to floor and ceiling. Integrated sliding or hinged doors with flush locks.

Technical Integration

Guaranteed acoustic insulation

We comply with the prescribed sound attenuation values (42 to 52 dB) by adapting partition thickness, mineral wool type and peripheral joints.
Home automa

Home automation and lighting integration

Routing of electrical cabling, data networks and home automation circuits within partitions. Coordination with the electrician for socket and switch positioning.

Full trade coordination

Interface with plumbing trades (partition reservations for pipes), ventilation (duct runs) and electrical (recessed sub-distribution boards).

Execution plans respected

Reading of your interior distribution plans, on-site dimensional verification, identification of structural constraints (beams, columns, load paths).

Frequently Asked Questions

Can COMODO fabricate custom steel workshop glazed screens to the interior designer's plans?

Yes. We manufacture the glazed partitions in our workshop using minimum 40×40 mm steel profiles, TIG-welded and powder-coated in a custom RAL colour or left as waxed raw steel. The glazing is supplied in 6 mm tempered glass or 4/16/4 double glazing depending on the specified acoustic performance.

We comply with the prescribed sound attenuation values by adapting the construction system: single partitions (42-45 dB), double-skin on decoupled studs (48-50 dB), double-skin with high-density wool (52 dB). Peripheral joints are treated with acoustic sealant.

Yes. We coordinate with the electrical, plumbing and ventilation lots to carry out the reservations (cable runs, pipework, ventilation ducts) before closing the partitions. Distribution boards are recessed into integrated metal enclosures.

Yes. Plasterboard partitions are delivered with smoothing compound applied and sanded (fine grain) for direct painting. For tiling, we install moisture-resistant boards (Placomarine or equivalent) with waterproof mortar joint treatment and application of a bonding primer.

Yes. We integrate concealed sliding door frames (ECLISSE, SCRIGNO brands) into the partitions before closing. The partitions are reinforced with double metal studs to support the weight of the door (up to 80 kg per leaf).
